Excellent book on the subject. Extremely well laid out to make it less wordy & less of a typical text book. The use of graphics really helps to reinforce the messages.
Particularly liked the section
on Classic Facilitator Challenges as it makes you realise that you are not alone in sometimes things not working as hoped and giving good ideas to counter problems.

Kaner includes a much needed extension of brainstorming (Osborn, 1953). The RoleStorming concept (R.E. Griggs, 1985) solves the problem of a) teams running out of ideas too soon and b) fear of public ridicule. The Facilitator's Guide offers new tools that wake people up. When a concept like brainstorming becomes generic, people have a tendency to go 'brain dead'; the excitement and novelty are lost and innovation suffers. Rolestorming (role playing + brainstorming) gives that shot in the arm needed to unshackle inhibitions and toss out great ideas that just might open new vistas. Rick Griggs, Quid Novi Innovations
