In the revised edition of his book Farson admits the possibility that Druitt did not commit suicide but was murdered by his family . His reasoning , in part , is sound . Druitt's pockets were filled with stones .
But without solid facts all this is speculation , with little more validity than Farson's writing about Druitt . If Druitt was a scapegoat , he must have been set up . Someone somewhere along the line must have chosen him .
